The ultimate clean summer Jordan
I missed out on the 2015 pair, but this version blows it away completely. The leather quality feels incredibly plush and premium, but the absolute best part is having the original "Nike Air" stitched on the back where it belongs.

Flawless retro execution that hits all the nostalgia
This is easily one of the cleanest Jordan 5 colorways Tinker Hatfield ever conceptualized. The contrast between the stark white leather and the bright reflective silver tongue is amazing, especially when it catches the light at night. The lace lock toggle feels very sturdy, and the icy translucent outsole trims the shoe beautifully. It fits perfectly true to my usual size.

A phenomenal, purist-grade remaster of a classic
I've been collecting AJ5s for over a decade, and Jordan Brand really nailed the details on this 2026 run. Beyond bringing back the Nike Air heel branding, they actually updated the "23" embroidery on the lateral side to a more vintage, original-spec font profile. The internal padding around the ankle collar is beautifully thick, providing that classic, armored mid-90s basketball shape.

My only minor complaint is that the translucent icy blue outsole compound, while gorgeous out of the box, is a magnet for oxidation and yellowing if you wear them on dusty sidewalks or damp surfaces. Make sure to wipe down the bottoms after wearing them. The step-in comfort from the enclosed sole Air unit is solid, and the side mesh netting feels robust. A true 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Exceeded all expectations
The tumbled leather texture on these is spectacular. It's incredibly soft right out of the box. The silver metallic shark teeth with the black speckling on the midsole give it just the right amount of aggressive detail.

Incredibly wearable, just watch for creasing on the toe
This shoe is an absolute styling cheat code because white, black, and silver go with absolutely everything in a closet. The overall shape is very true to the older eras. Just keep in mind that because the leather is quite soft, the toe box will form deep natural creases within your first few walks. If you want to keep them looking pristine, you'll definitely want to put some crease guards inside.
