Much more elegant than typical Valentine's shoes
I love that Jordan Brand didn't just dump a bucket of bright pink paint over these. The pale ivory leather looks beautiful and premium, and the deep sierra red accents give it a romantic, vintage feel rather than a loud, cartoonish look.

Immaculate details and beautiful custom packaging
Everything about this release feels thoughtfully crafted. The lipstick kiss graphic hidden on the insoles is such a fun, playful surprise when you look inside. The glossy finish on the tough red mudguard layer mimics real lip gloss under the light and pairs beautifully with the matte ivory panels. They fit exactly true to size and look wonderful styled with cream knitwear.

A sophisticated seasonal drop, just remember to spray the leather
The design team absolutely struck the perfect balance between basketball heritage and subtle femininity with this colorway. Replacing the traditional stark white upper with a warm, off-white ivory tone completely changes the vibe of the silhouette, making it look much more high-end and versatile for everyday outfits well past February. The red translucent heart hangtag is a great, collectible touch.

My only minor functional note is that the pale ivory smooth leather is very delicate and will show black scuff marks quite easily if you accidentally strike them against concrete curbs or pedals. Make sure to treat them with a stain-protectant barrier before your first wear. Underfoot, the visible heel Air-Sole unit provides that heavy-duty, secure stability that the 1989 classic is known for.

The perfect alternative to the Nigel Sylvester pair
The color blocking on these is so incredibly clean. The sierra red mesh netting provides a beautiful pop against the pale ivory upper tabs. It's easily the prettiest Jordan 4 in my closet.

Phenomenal style, but expect a standard rigid break-in
Visually, this shoe is a ten out of ten—the cream Jumpman soaring over the red heel shield looks phenomenal. Just keep in mind that the thick leather cut and structural TPU support wings make the shoe feel quite stiff right out of the box. It took me about three long neighborhood walks before the toe box began flexing smoothly without pinching my foot.
