I bought these to hop on the red shoe trend, and they do not disappoint. The red leather is deep and rich, while the crisp white three-stripes keep it looking classic. The interior satin lining feels incredibly soft against bare skin, making them perfect for warm days. They run slightly wide because of the open silhouette, but the hook-and-loop strap easily adjusts for a secure fit.

The moment I saw this scarlet red and white version drop, I knew I had to have them for my spring wardrobe. It takes the timeless football heritage of the Samba and flips it on its head with a gorgeous feminine Mary Jane structure. The contrast between the bright red upper, white accents, and the classic flat gum sole is stunning.

My only minor warning is the initial feel of the leather heel tab, which is structured and cut a bit high. It rubbed slightly on my first walk across Milan, so I highly recommend styling them with cute frilly ankle socks or sheer tights until the leather gives. Once broken in, they are incredibly lightweight and flexible. It’s an easy 4.5 out of 5 stars for high-fashion streetwear.

These look amazing styled with a relaxed denim jacket and a white sundress. The quality of the leather is fantastic and doesn't scuff easily. Just keep in mind that beneath the feminine strap, it still retains the ultra-flat construction of a traditional Samba. There is virtually no arch support inside, so if your feet tire out easily, you'll feel a bit of fatigue after a long day of standing.
