My only piece of practical ownership advice is regarding the maintenance. Because the entire shoe is wrapped in raw, fine-grain black nubuck, it acts like a magnet for lint, dust, and light scuffs. If you scrape them against a concrete curb, it will leave a faint gray mark instantly. You will definitely want to invest in a dedicated suede/nubuck eraser and brush kit to keep that deep, pitch-black color uniform. A spectacular 4.5 out of 5 stars for execution.

Visually, this is a perfect ten out of ten—the light graphite script on the tongue adds just the right hint of contrast. Just be aware that because of the dense material layers and the hard plastic structural eyelet tabs, the midfoot containment is very rigid out of the box. It took me about four full days of casual wear before the side paneling relaxed and stopped squeezing the sides of my feet.
