Like most Sambas, the sole is very flat, and the heel was a little stiff for the first couple of days. Once you break them in, they are the perfect casual city sneaker.

My only minor complaint is that the leather tongue can occasionally rub against the front of the ankle if you wear low-cut socks, so I recommend pairing them with slightly higher socks for the first week. Once the leather softens up, they fit like an absolute glove.
