The absolute perfect balance of dark and feminine
I usually lean toward strictly neutral sneakers, but the soft orchid pink stripes on these give them the prettiest pop against the dark indigo suede. They look incredibly chic with a simple white tee and loose denim.

Much more comfortable for women than the standard Sambas
I switched over from my Sambas to the Spezial silhouette and my feet are so much happier. The Spezial has a slightly thicker gum rubber base and a molded inner arch that actually supports your foot during long walking days. Since these are technically cataloged in unisex/men's base sizing at some retailers, make sure to size down 1.5 sizes from your usual US women's size. The fit is beautifully snug through the midfoot.

A total styling dream, just watch out for the initial break-in
I fell in love with this color blocking on social media and they look even better in person. The deep navy body makes them so practical for daily city wear, and the leather pink accents add the perfect playful touch. The ankle collar is cut beautifully low, meaning it shapes your legs nicely when paired with tennis skirts or cropped ankle socks.

My only real warning for women buying this model is that the flat T-toe overlay across the front can feel slightly stiff and compressed right out of the box. If you have a slightly wider forefoot or don't like your toes feeling restricted, you'll want to wear them with thick socks around your apartment for a day or two to let the suede naturally stretch.

Beautifully slim and zero bulk
I love that these don't make my feet look wide or blocky at all. The silhouette tapers sharply toward the toe, and the gold-foil 'Spezial' lettering on the side gives it a really high-end designer touch.

Gorgeous colors, but size down if you have thin feet
The Orchid Fusion pink details are gorgeous against the deep blue. Because the toe box is built just a little bit long compared to typical fashion sneakers, I had to drop down a half-size from my standard women's 7 to a 6.5 to keep my heel from sliding up and down. If you have very narrow or petite feet, definitely consider sizing slightly down.
