I’ve been waiting for a clean retro of these since my 2007 pair literally crumbled into dust. Jordan Brand absolutely nailed the shape on this 2025 reissue—that pristine white tumbled leather with the metallic silver hits looks incredibly elegant in person.

This is easily the most sophisticated Air Jordan 3 colorway ever designed. Instead of relying on contrasting colors, the 'Pure Money' relies entirely on texture. The tonality of the white elephant print debossed nubuck against the smooth leather mudguard is beautiful. The chrome Jumpman logo on the heel tab catches the light perfectly when walking. They fit true to size and match any dress code.

There is a reason this silhouette is considered a holy grail for summer rotations. Pulling down the heel tab to find the proper stitched "PURE $" text underneath is such an awesome, nostalgic touch for purists. Underfoot, the polyurethane midsole provides that classic, dense 1988 heel containment, and the visible Air unit softens your heel strikes beautifully on concrete streets. They even included a secondary set of white laces embedded with subtle elephant print texturing.

My only practical warning is that an all-white shoe made of premium, soft materials requires constant attention. The white rubber outsole and the perforated leather collar collect dust and dirt effortlessly. If you step in cut grass or wear them out on a wet afternoon, they will smudge instantly. Treat them heavily with a premium stain repellent before your first wear. An absolute 4.5 out of 5 stars for visual execution.

Incredible street style, but prepare for a brief break-in period
Visually, this shoe is a total ten out of ten because a clean, triple-white Jordan 3 commands instant attention on foot. Just keep in mind that because the inner sockliner and ankle collar feature a thick, plush mesh padding, the midfoot containment feels surprisingly snug out of the box. Give them about three or four casual neighborhood walks for the interior foam to mold perfectly to your foot shape.

Functionally, the rubber outsole provides excellent traction on everyday city asphalt, and the classic circular traction pods give you a very stable base. The leather on the toe box is remarkably supple, ensuring that the shoe creases very naturally over time without buckling or cracking awkwardly across the front. The mesh tongue offers a decent amount of ventilation to keep your feet from overheating on warmer spring afternoons. If you want a durable, history-grounded sneaker that looks premium without needing loud colors, this release is an exceptional triumph.
